Piracy of released film is nothing new, as we had been seeing that happening for every other film that is released, but Piracy of unreleased film is definitely shocking news. Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” was pirated even before the movie was released to theaters.
The movie was supposed to be released on August 11, but it had been already circulated among the pirated markets and finally one such copy of the film had reached Bollywood choreographer-director Remo D'Souza. Sharing about the incident, Remo said that he met someone who had the entire film on their pen drive and after verifying the same, he immediately notified the producers of the film.
Soon the producer of the movie, Arora approached the crime branch to report the incident and tried to bring the situation under control before the copies started spreading everywhere. Akshay Kumar also asked people not to watch the pirated versions and requested audience to support on this issue.
"The fight against piracy is critical and it's reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film Toilet - Ek Prem Katha. I would like to urge my friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to please say no to piracy. Thank you all for your support," shared Akshay Kumar.
