Baahubali Set In RFC Opened To Public

Ramoji Film City had finally opened gates to public to experience the spectacular and gigantic sets of Mahishmati kingdom, which was erected in RFC for the shooting of “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The conclusion” movies. Lately, Ramoji film city had been getting multiple requests from its visitors asking them to allow into the sets of Baahubali, as the shooting is no longer happening.

After multiple such requests, RFC management saw this as another opportunity to make money and had collaborated with the producers of Baahubali into profit sharing agreement on the sales of entry tickets into Mahishmati kingdom. The entry is based on multiple packages from regular day tour to premium tours, where an assisted guide will explain you scene by scene that happened within the sets and visitors also will have chance to look at the props like swords, shields, spears etc used by the actors.

Both the parts, Baahubali 1 and 2, were shot in this set for nearly four years and it took seven months for National award winning production designer Sabu Cyril to erect this over-the-top kingdom of Mahishmathi. RFC management are also planning to make a museum that displays all the details such as paintings, prosthetics, dresses, footwear, ornaments, miniatures etc that were part of this epic movie.
