Kajal Aggarwal, who had ruled the Tollywood in the past 10 years, had been seeing slump in her career in Tollywood. Her position had been slowly replaced by young actress such as Pooja Hegde, Disha Patani and Rakul preet singh. Owing to poor offers from Tollywood, she had been concentrating on other languages.
She even kept lot of hopes on her Bollywood movie “Do Lafzon Ki Kahani” but that movie disappointed everyone. Now she is hoping that the Kollywood would give her much needed break as she is pairing opposite two Kollywood biggies : one is in Ajith’s movie “Vivegam” and other opposite to Vijay in the movie “Mersal”. She is utilizing this opportunity to get close to fans of two these top stars in Kollywood by praising them at any given opportunity. This is what she has to say about the two top Tamil actors.
Ajith - He always treats his co-stars with respect. Right from day one, Ajith sir addressed me as Kajalji on the sets. I was surprised and told him that I was junior to him, and that he could call me by name, he said, “I will call you Kajal personally. But during shooting, the others in the unit would follow the lead actor and director only!” Ajith also added that he wanted to bring change in the industry in respecting the women.
Vijay – Earlier I used to feel scared in front of him since he is very big star but after working with him in Thuppakki and Jilla, I shed my inhibitions and started moving in a very free manner with him, He tells me how not to take success in the head and gives his 100% for his role.
