Magadheera producer Allu Arvind had finally stepped back. He withdrew his injunction case against Raabta filmmakers sensing the defeat. During the case hearing on Thursday, the counsel representing Raabta makers had presented several differences in the script between the two films. Soon after the court hearing, the makers of Raabta sent a message to media saying, “RAABTA wins !!!! Magadheera withdraws.”
Sharing the happy news, Dinesh Vijan the director of Raabta told, “There is no out of court settlement. They were misguided. Day before yesterday they presented their case and yesterday, we presented our case and our counsel argued that both the films are not similar. This morning they withdrew the case. A month back when we offered them to watch the film, if they had watched Raabta, it would have been a simpler process"
"Raabta", a Bollywood film by Dinesh Vijan revolves around the theme of rebirth and is produced by Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar. The makers had been protesting from the start saying reincarnation of two lovers had been shown in many movies such as 'Prem', 'Hamesha', 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Kudrat' and no one can copyright the theme of reincarnation. Now as per the court order, Raabta will release on the scheduled date, June 09 2017.
