The trailer of Manchu Manoj's Okkadu Migiladu has been out. Manoj is playing the role of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran in this film. The dialogues are pretty intense and thought-provoking. Apart from playing the role of Prabhakaran, Manoj is also seen in the role of student leader. He had gained good amount of weight to fit into the character of LTTE chief and his appearance brings out that believability factor.
The trailer starts with powerful dialogue of comparing LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran with freedom fighters in India and rebuking the act of calling LTTE fighters as terrorists. The trailer also talks about Tamil women trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation and retribution of Tamil Elam group against the atrocities on their community.
Manoj had been working on this film from more than one and half year. The film was expected to release six months back itself but got delayed due to re-shooting and visual effects. Currently the shooting of the film is completed and the postproduction works are going on in full swing. The actor is trying to bounce back in his career with this film, after tasting disaster result in his earlier film “Gunturodu”. Okkadu Migiladu will be releasing on 8th September.
