Bigg Boss franchise had tried to capture the market in south India by launching their TV reality show in Tamil and Telugu languages. They have roped in Kamal Hassan and Jr.Ntr by offering mouthwatering amounts to host the respective reality shows as these actors have good amount of fan following and can attract family audience to this show.
However, the ground reality turned out to complete opposite. Bigg Boss Tamil, which was launched on 25 June 2017 in Star Vijay channel with 15 housemates, turned out to be damp squib with low TRP ratings. On the top of these poor TRP ratings, it had also stirred up controversies in Tamil Nadiu where a group called Hindu Munnani Katchi had been protesting on the way the show was held and filed a case against the show host Kamal Hassan, stating that his show is a disgrace to the Tamil culture and demanded his arrest.
Looking at these happenings, fans of Jr.Ntr are now worrying about how Big Boss Telugu would fare out on small screens. They don’t want their favorite star’s show to get flopped or fall into controversies as it had happened for Kamal Hassan and also for Chiranjeevi’s “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu”. They are hoping that this bold step of Jr.Ntr should not affect his career, if something goes wrong.
