What’s Good:

Gopichand’s performance

What’s Bad:

Routine story

When you don’t have any film direction chance from past three years and are given a offer by your producer father, What would you do? Usually people work hard and come up with super interesting story to prove their mettle as director. However, Jyothi Krishna had completely failed to utilize this opportunity given by his producer father A. M. Rathnam and delivered a bland movie, which is neither patriotic nor interesting.

First half of the film starts with establishing enmity between two families (Jagapathi Babu and Sayaji Shinde) in Achutapuram village. Whenever Sayaji Shinde tries to attempt a murder plan on Jagapathi Babu, the plan gets foiled by Jagapathi Babu’s brothers Abhimanyu Singh, Brahmaji and Jagapathi Babu’s son kick Shaam. Soon Jagapathi Babu tries to marry off his daughter Raashi Khanna with software engineer Gopichand. When they both are about to get married, a twist comes in the story where software engineer Gopichand turns out to be the real enemy of Jagapathi Babu. He kills Kick Shaam, Brahmaji and his people and kidnap Raashi Khanna. Later Gopichand again comes as a military officer, who is always ready to fight for his country. How does he complete the operation “oxygen” by destroying the illegal cigarette factory and bring justice to his people, is what the movie is about.

Gopichand again got an opportunity to perform in two different characters, one as software engineer Krishna Prasad and another as military officer Sanjay. However, his dubbing is not at all consistent in the film. In the second half, it appears like someone had said dubbing to Gopichand as the voice is completely different. Raashi Khanna is big letdown in this movie as she always had blank expression on her face throughout the movie. Anu Emmanuel also could not justify her role in this poorly written script. Jagapathi Babu, Kick Shaam, Abhimanyu Singh, Brahmaji , Baahubali Prabhakar, Amit and Ali are just ok.

In summary, this movie appears to be boring version of cancer patient Mukesh’s biopic. In fact, it look as if director Jyothi Krishna had got the idea of making this film by watching the video of Mukesh and Rahul Dravid’s smoking advertisement’s. Even though the story of ill affects of smoking appears good on paper, the movie completely irritates you with routine and dull screenplay. Finally, Gopichand has one more flop in his career.
