Review:

“Paisa Vasool” once again proved that Puri Jagannadh’s had completely run out of his creative juice. This movie is neither new nor interesting. Its just rehash of all the gangster movies, which he had directed till date. Only god knows, when Puri will come out of this routine storyline of Hero in disguise going on a mission to capture Villain.

Although Nandamuri Balakrishna efforts are clearly visible in the role of Theda Singh, lack of support from story and screenplay department had completely played spoilsport. The heroines in the movie, Kyra Dutt and Muskan Sethi, are another big letdown in acting department. They just look like item girls rather than main leads.

First half has nothing new to offer other than Balakrishna consuming alcohol, uttering some stupid punch less dialogues, fighting with baddies and dancing with heroines. Second half completely goes downhill with Balakrishna/Shriya scenes, boring twist in the actual identity of Theda Singh and predictable climax.

In summary, Puri had again proved everyone that it is crime to expect a hit movie from him. As he said in the interval title cards “Fans and family only, outers are not allowed”. Paisa Vasool is only for fans and family of Balakrishna, outsiders please don’t dare to enter theaters.
