Even though distributors of Allu Arjun's "Duvvada Jagannadham" lost badly on their investments, director Harish Shankar and producer Dil Raju are still boasting that their movie is blockbuster. As per the report, distributors from ceded will be losing 30% of their investment, whereas distributors in coastal Andhra have reported a loss of 25% percent and distributors in America have reported 50% loss on their investment.
Despite this loss, producer Dil Raju is still trying to cover up his statements by saying “Duvvada Jagannadham had crossed the collections of Sarrainodu collections, now you tell me whether DJ is hit or flop? I had already told that Duvvada Jagannadham is hit in the success meet itself. DJ is my hat-trick hit film and I still stand by my statements”
Audience who had been hearing Dil Raju’s statements are scratching their heads and asking him some basic questions such as “Sarrainodu was made in budget of Rs 50 crores and collected Rs 76 crores share worldwide but Duvvada Jagannadham is made on a budget of Rs 75 Crores and had collected total share of Rs 69 crores in 27 days, so your movie has not yet recovered the budget but you are claiming it as blockbuster?”
“And also how can you compare Duvvada Jagannadham with Sarrainodu when Dj budget is Rs 25 crores more than Sarrainodu. If both the movies are made on same budget then you can compare them. When you are doing a comparison, compare apple with apple not apple with oranges, even though both are fruits”
