Commercial movies in Tollywood majorly showcase heroine as glamour dolls, who can provide ample skin show to the audience. Infact when some directors do the screen test of heroines, the first thing they look is whether the actress is suitable for wearing revealing dresses or not. This has been the case with most of the recent heroines, who are testing their luck in Tollywood, whether it is Pooja Hegde in DJ or Megha Akash in Lie or Regina Cassandra and Pragya Jaiswal in Nakshatram or Hansika Motwani and Catherine Tresa in Goutham Nanda.
Yet, there are still some actresses who don’t bend for these kind of offers and only sign movies based on the strong heroine characterizations. Some of such heroines are Nithya Menen, Keerthy Suresh, Sai Pallavi and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada. Even if they don’t get movies because of their strict no skin show policy, these actress are ok with sitting idle without any movies than shooting for meaningless and uninteresting heroines characters in masala movies.
However, slowly even these actresses are also getting inclined towards masala movies. One such example is Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, who is riding high with back to back hits “Mahanubhavudu” and “Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha” is slowly increasing her glamour quotient film by film. In the trailer of her upcoming film “Raja The Great”, the actress showed us the teaser of her hotness that she was hiding in the last two films. While Mehreen Kaur Pirzada fans are happy that she had finally opened up but some critics are sad that another actress, who was performing in good roles, had now transformed into masala heroine.
