Why We Don’t Have OnScreen Bald Heroes in India?

Indian superstars have rare inferiority complex. Almost most of them have baldness, but no one has courage to show their actual hair on screen. From Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali khan, Ajay Devgan to Tollywood stars Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, JrNTR and Gopichand, everyone are suffering from baldness.

Moreover, there is nothing wrong in having baldness, it is not the person’s mistake to have baldhead and no one has control over his or her baldness. It is in genetics and if it is supposed to happen, it will happen. Why not face it without any shame? Why our stars cannot show their actual hair and pass the message saying that a person need not have full head of hair to be a Hero.

Some say that audience may not accept hero with baldhead. But, when audience had accepted people who are dark, thin, fat, tall, big, small personalities as heroes, why wouldn’t they accept bald heroes? If audience would have only accepted handsome and six pack personalities as heroes then we would hardly have single digit heroes in India.

In Hollywood, we have many actors who are popular even with their bald looks such as Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Vin diesel, who don’t have any wigs or hair transplants done but still able to show the much needed heroism on the screen without hiding below the wigs. Hope there comes a day for our Indian actors to show the same audacity and act without any embarrassment of baldness.
