Daggubati Venkateswara Rao revealed shocking details about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s severe depression and gunfire incident at actor's residence after balayya entered into an argument with the producer of his film "Lakshminarsimha" on sharing of profits and other matters.
“I went to Balakrishna’s house one day before that firing incident. Balakrishna had met with an accident, his leg was broken at his ankle, and he had undergone major operation. He was lying in bed for 15 days and when I went to visit him, Balakrishna told me that he will not live anymore, and asked me to take care of his kids. He went in to acute depression because Bellamkonda Suresh had promised him that his film ‘Lakshminarsimha’ will be played for 100 days in lot of theaters but they removed the film from theaters within 50 days, which led to major fight between them”
“During the same time, he also met with accident in the leg and he taught that he would not be able to dance and fight in future and was always depressed. These situations had aggravated his anger and called Bellamkonda Suresh and others to his house that led to the gun fire incident’ Shared Daggubati Venkateswara Rao
This Gunfire incident shook the entire state and even Balakrishna admitted to police that he did shoot producer Bellamkonda Suresh and associate Satyanarayana Chowdhary at his house, but only in 'self-defence'. However, later court had dismissed the case after the victims told that they dont remember who fired at them.
